Suggested Reading Lists In the year 1054 a great division occurred that would transform the face of Christianity and separate it into Eastern and Western schools of thought. As time passed more division occurred fracturing Christianity into the myriad of faiths seen today. Many have wondered what the real difference is and why these divisions occurred. This list is aimed at answering these questions offering both historical and theological reasons why we as Christians are united in Christ but divided by faith.
